Step 6: Auto Submit
Automatic submission of galleries to up to 10 generated sites at once using simple controls. You can specify the date and time when the auto submit should run and have the computer turned off after auto submit has finished.
Step 6: Auto Submit
Important warnings before submitting the galleries:
1. Make sure you are on-line. You need to be for the submission!
2. Make sure that all galleries, images and recips were uploaded to the server (Step 5);
3. Enter your valid HTTP and SMTP parameters in the Connection tab (File > Options > Connection). You can use the Connection shortcut button to open this tab directly.

Auto Submit:
If you wish to run auto submit at a specific time, check Schedule, select the date in the calendar and the time when the auto submit should commence.
If you want to run auto submit immediately, leave Schedule unchecked.
Select the number of simultaneous submits to sites in the Threads box. The maximum is 10 threads and the value you set depends on the speed of your connection – set a lower number of threads if your connection is slow and vice versa.
To start auto submit (scheduled or immediate) click the Start button (blue arrow). An authorization dialog box opens and you will be requested to enter your chameleon Login and Password. Click on Authorize button to launch the auto submission process / activate the scheduled auto submit.
An ongoing auto submit can be interrupted at any time by clicking on Pause button or Stop button.
If you click on Pause the process runs until the ongoing site submits are completed;
Clicking on Stop will immediately terminate auto submit irrespective of any ongoing submissions (except e-mail submits).
If you wish to continue the auto submit, restart by clicking on Continue button. Auto submission will continue from the point where you interrupted it.
Scheduled auto submit can be canceled at any moment by clicking on the Stop button.
If you want to make sure that your computer is automatically switched off after auto submit is finished, check Power off when finished.
View the results of automatic submission by clicking on the Report tab (Step 8).
If you want to continue submitting manually, click on the Manual Submit tab (Step 7).
Tips & Tricks:
- If you want to avoid re-entering the Login and Password for authorization, store them on the Advanced tab (File > Options > Advanced).
- You can monitor the progress of submission on the Progress bar which displays the percentage of performed submits in the total number of all sites generated for Auto Submit. Submission Progress boxes show the ongoing process in separate threads;
- Click on Pause to suspend the submit process if you need to check the submitted gallery report. Click on Stop as soon as submission is completed in all threads. You can then switch to the Report tab.
Click on Start again to resume the submit process. In this way you can suspend the submission at any time. It can be resumed later even if the Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter has been closed and reopened; - You can submit manually (in Step 7) even during an ongoing auto submit. The submit forms, however, will take longer to load and their response may be slower. This is especially true in case you have a slow connection;
- Scheduled auto submit only works for currently generated galleries. It is not possible to schedule auto submit for several different galleries at once!
- After the auto submit (scheduled or immediate) commences it is not possible to edit the database or preceding tabs (e.g. prepare the submit of the next gallery).
- If you discover during the submit process that you made an error in the gallery description, click on Stop. Return to Step 1 to correct the description and confirm the change by clicking on the Save&Continue button (ONLY in the appropriate step, i.e. Step 1). Then click on the Auto Submit tab and continue submitting / reactivate scheduled auto submit.
If you made an error when entering other information (e.g. the # of pics, categories, hosting, etc.) which directly affects the selection of sites suitable for submit, we strongly recommend to repeat the whole process. - Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter must remain open after scheduled auto submit is activated or else the submit will not be able to begin as scheduled.
- If you wish to change the date/time of the scheduled auto submit, click on Stop, correct the date/time and click on Start again.
- You can activate/deactivate automatic shut-down of the computer after completion of auto submit at any time, even while auto submit (scheduled or immediate) is running.
