Defines the relationship between the Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter categories and the site categories (their values) by simply matching them using Drag & Drop from the downloaded submit form. The possibility to add custom categories!

Site Details - Categories

Access Site Details (Categories) from the context menu in Database ( Database > Show).

The Site Categories table (right) displays the TEMPORARILY downloaded Names of categories and their Values downloaded from the form of the site.
If this table is empty and you want to download the values temporarily, click on the Get Categories button. In the loaded form, highlight categories (or one of them) and click the Categories button. The window will automatically close and you can continue to add/edit categories.

The CS Categories table (left) displays all Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter categories in the Category column. You should assign the corresponding category Values of the site.
You can do so by dragging and dropping of the Values from the Site Categories table to the appropriate rows in the Pic Value and/or Mov Value columns.

The Pic Value column displays the values of picture categories and the Mov Value column displays the values of movie categories.

When adding a TGP drag the appropriate values into the Pic Value column.

When adding a MGP drag the appropriate values into the Mov Value column.

When adding a TGP+ which accepts movie and picture galleries drag the appropriate values into both columns.

Assigning the values will make these categories automatically enabled (checked in the Enabled column).

If the list of categories used by Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter does not contain a specific category to which you would like to submit, simply add it. All you need to do is click on an empty row in the Category column and enter its name. Continue by assigning the Values (see above).

If the site has no names (values) for its categories, just check the boxes in the Enabled columns for accepted categories.
If the site accepts all categories, click on the Enable All button (separately for Pic/Mov Categories). To uncheck all use the Disable All button (also separately for Pic/Mov Categories).

Copy Enabled: If you want to enable the same categories in the other column click on the Pic -> Mov button.

Copy Value To: If you want to copy the same value into the other rows of enabled categories in the column, highlight the value and click All Enabled.
If you wish to copy the same value to all rows of Gay categories in the column, highlight the value and click on Gay Categories.
These instructions can be used especially when the site only has a single category value for all accepted categories (i.e. only “Movies” or “Gay” category).

If the site bans certain niches, check the respective category or niche in the Banned column. The site will then not be generated even if you select other categories in Step 1 which are otherwise accepted by the site.
For example, if BDSM galleries are not accepted but Fetish galleries are (i.e. the BDSM category is checked in the Banned column and the Fetish category is checked in the Enabled column) and you select both these categories in Step 1, the site will not be generated even though the Fetish category is enabled for it.

Tips & Tricks:

The sites in the database do not need to be edited manually, we will do it for you! Just run Database Update (Database > Update) and the sites will be updated automatically.

If you change any settings in any tab of Site Details (except for Partner Account, Preferred User Settings in General tab and custom categories in the Categories tab), we recommend to Lock the site against automatic Database Update (Database > Update). Otherwise you run the risk that these settings will be overridden during the next update.em>

You do not need to lock a site you added against Database Update because it will not be automatically deleted during update.
NOTE! If the same site is added to the central database between updates, your own settings may be overridden during the next update.

When adding your own site you need to enter the necessary information in all Site Details tabs, otherwise generation in Step 3, and Auto/Manual Submit will not be correct!

If you cannot carry (drag and drop) the Values into the CS Categories table, verify whether you have set the correct Site Type in the General tab. For TGP the Mov Value column is inactive (because TGPs only accept pics) and conversely, for MGP the Pic Value column is not used. (because MGPs only accept movies or mixed content).

If the TGP+ does not have separate movie categories enter the same values in both columns. You can simplify this by assigning the values only in one column, then highlighting all rows in the column (by selecting the first and last rows in the column – not the column title – while holding the SHIFT key) and copying them by CTRL+C. Click on the first row in the other column and paste the copied values using CTRL+V.

If the categories cannot be assigned (non-standard or too large selection of categories) set the site to Manual Submission in the General tab. Do not forget to check accepted categories, or the site will not be generated when submitting to those categories in Step 3!

In case the site accepts ONLY ONE of these niches: Hardcore or Softcore, Teen or Babe or Mature (or the corresponding Gay categories), you can add categories as sub-categories to these.
Make sure first that you only checked one of the accepted niches in the Rules tab.
Example: For teens-only sites which offer several categories (e.g. Teen Softcore, Teen Hardcore, Teen Lesbians, …), check 18-23 yrs in Model’s Age and continue by assigning categories; i.e. Teen Softcore to Softcore, Teen Hardcore to Hardcore, Teen Lesbians to Lesbians, etc.
When submitting to such site the appropriate (sub)category is automatically selected.
Note! If the site does not have a general category (e.g. Teen) then this category must still be enabled or the site would never be generated for submit (this applies if you only selected the Teen category in Step 1). The site then also needs to be switched to Manual Submission in the General tab.

If you do not want the site to be generated for submission when selecting a certain category (in Step 1) then disable the category by unchecking it in the appropriate column.

Values may be added/edited/deleted directly in the CS Categories table by clicking on the row you wish to edit.

Before adding your own category in the Category column make sure that the same or a similar category does not already exist in the column. The categories you add will be ignored during automatic Database Update which means they will never be updated or deleted.

The category you added will be differentiated from the other CS categories by an asterisk (at the beginning of its name). This will give you a better overview of your own categories.
After adding the category will also appear in the list of categories in Step 1 as well as in other site details.

Unlike with the CS categories you can edit the categories which you added, i.e. change their name or delete them. Note! Any changes will also affect other site settings in the database.
If you want to change the name of your category, click on it and enter a new one.
To delete the category, click on its name and press Delete on the keyboard. We do not recommend to delete the category if sites were generated in it during Step 3 and you are going to submit.

In case you have set recips by categories (without a default recip) and you enable an additional category, do not forget to assign a reciprocal link to it in the Recips tab.

$$movtsize – substitute of total size of all movies in the gallery in MB (rounded to 1 decimal place);

Movie Lenght:
$$movlength – substitute of (average) length of one movie in minutes and seconds (mm:ss);
$$movtlength – substitute of total length of all movies in the gallery in minutes and seconds (mm:ss);

Comments:
$$comment – substitute of Comments;

2257 Info URL:
$$2257url – substitute of full URL to 2257 Info;

Big Image URL:
$$bigurl – substitute of full URL to Big Image (not thumbnail);

IP Address:
$$ip – substitute of your IP address;

Custom Parameters:
$$user1-4 – substitute of Custom Parameters, you can define yourself;

Passphrase:
$$code – substitute of Image Code (OCR). Only works for certain types of passphrases!
If you want to find out if the selected passphrase can be recognized and automatically filled in, drag & drop the passphrase from the form into the Test Code field.
- If the code displayed in the field is the same as the code in the form, you may use the $$code parameter.
- If, however, a blank or different code is shown than the one in the form, leave the field with the passphrase in the form empty or else it will be completed incorrectly during the submit.
$$copytxt(expression) – substitute of Text Code (which can be selected, copied and pasted… no images!).
When using the parameter replace the text in the brackets with an expression appearing BEFORE the required code in the page text (not in its source code!). Once the submitter locates the expression it will enter a word (text code) into the field which immediately FOLLOWS the expression. See examples in the Tips & Tricks section at the end of this page.

If you entered the missing parameters into empty fields of the form, proceed by assigning the following parameters:

2. Assign Selected Control to:

Categories: If the form contains categories, highlight their menu (or one of them) and click the Categories button.
The Status under the button shall change to Assigned [OK].

Movie Type: If the form contains movie types, highlight their menu (or one of them) and click Movie Type. Movie Type means its format, e.g. AVI, MPEG, etc. (available only for MGPs or TGPs+).
The Status under the button shall change to Assigned [OK].

Content Type: If the form contains gallery content types, highlight their menu (or one of them) and click Content Type. Gallery Content Type describes whether the content consists of pics, movies or it is a mixed gallery.
The Status under the button shall change to Assigned [OK].

Relevant parameters ($$cat, $$movtype and $$galtype) will be automatically assigned to the field names. If some of them are not contained in the loaded form, or none of them are contained, leave the status at Missing [N/A].

3. Confirm Assignment:

To automatically download a form into the submitter with assigned parameters click the Submit button (also called “Post This Gallery”, “Post”, etc.) directly in the form for the given site.
After submitting the form you will see a Navigation window with the following options:

If you are adding a form contained on a single page, click the Finish button to finish the process of adding.

However, if you are adding a form contained in more than a single page (a multi-page form), it is necessary to decide whether it is necessary to log into the next page, or whether you have already entered your login info.

With authorization, or if the login info have not been entered yet:
Click Back, fill out your login info, re-submit the form to log in, and proceed.

With no authorization required or if login info have been entered:
Click Continue to get to the form of the next page where you can proceed by assigning further parameters.

Once you are finished with the last form, click the Finish button.

After clicking the Finish button the window with the form and the navigation window will close, which takes you back to the Parameters tab.

As you can see for yourself, in addition to required parameters, the fields Action URL and Method were also automatically filled out in the Parameters tab.
NOTE! In special cases when the site uses HTTP header cookies when sending the form the Method needs to be changed manually! See Method Setting below.
In the Parameters table you can see the Names of the form fields (visible and hidden) and their assigned Values. They can be edited if needed, but we only recommend editing them to advanced users.

If the site has category selection in the form ($$cat) then the Names and Values will be TEMPORARILY loaded (only after clicking Get Parameters or Get Categories) into the Site Categories table in the Categories tab.

If the site (TGP+) has gallery content type selection in the form ($$galtype), their Names and Values will be TEMPORARILY loaded (only after clicking Get Parameters) into the Site Content Types table. In such case these Values need to be dragged and dropped into the CS Content Types table and assign them to the Types of gallery content types in Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter.

If the site (MGP, TGP+) has movie type selection in the form ($$movtype), their Names and Values will be TEMPORARILY loaded (only after clicking Get Parameters) into the Site Movie Types table. In such case these Values need to be dragged and dropped into the CS Movie Types table and assign them to the Types of movie types in Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter.
If, however the site (MGP, TGP+) does not have any selection of movie types in the form or permits all types (without the option of assigning Values), check the accepted types in the CS Movie Types table.

Method Setting:

The Method parameter defines the form submission process where GET and POST are standard HTTP methods included automatically when Get Parameters button is used.
MPOST is a standard HTTP POST method using ‘multipart/form-data’ transfer encoding. This encoding is used in all forms which require a file to be uploaded (e.g. for sample thumbnail uploads). MPOST will also automatically be completed when the Get Parameters button is clicked.

Note: If the site uses header cookies when the HTTP form is sent, you need to select the GET+POST method (e.g. for Brownie Script) or GET+MPOST method (combination of HTTP header cookies and ‘multipart/form-data’ encoding) manually!

The MAIL method is used when submitting by e-mail (see below).

If the site uses E-mail submission:

Select MAIL in the Method box. Enter its E-mail address and the Subject used in the e-mail.

If the site requires a specific information in the e-mail, different from the Default E-mail Text entered in the E-mail Template tab, then you need to complete the parameters table as follows:
Enter the required name of the value in the Name column (e.g. Gallery URL, Number of Pics, Description, etc.), and add the appropriate value in the Value column.
In the final e-mail these parameters will be replaced by real data and the Values entered for Name will be separated by a colon. The sequence of rows in the table will be retained.
The e-mail content defined in this way can be extended by a Header and a Footer. To do that go to Custom E-mail Options.

If the site does not require specific information in the e-mail then the data entered in the Default E-mail Text will be used and no further parameters need to be specified in the table (leave the table empty!).

Finally, do not forget to check all accepted movies (TGP+, MGP) in the CS Movie Types table and/or categories in the Categories tab.

Click on the Save button if you wish to save the information filled in. Click on the Categories tab to view further information about the site.
If you do not want to store the information entered or you have made no changes, click on Cancel button.
By clicking on OK button the data will be stored and the Site Details window is automatically closed.

Otherwise you run the risk that these settings will be overridden during the next update.<em>

If no form is opened when you click on Get Parameters, you have entered an incorrect Submit URL in the General tab.

If you get a Navigation window after clicking on Get Parameters, click the Continue button to load the form.

If the submit page or images on it loads slowly when Get Parameters is clicked, click on Stop to stop the download.

If you wish to cancel or close the window with the downloaded submit form before completing all parameters, click on the Cancel button. The window will be closed and no parameters will be assigned.

If the form to be submitted is contained on more than a single page, it is necessary to set up manual submitting (check the Manual Submission box in the General tab).

If you enter a parameter for description with a different maximum number of characters than the available amount then the description from Step 1 closest to this maximum amount (the nearest shorter description) is used during submit.

If you cannot drag and drop the Values into the CS Content Types or CS Movie Types table, verify that your Site Type is set correctly in the General tab. These tables are not active for TGP sites (as TGP only accepts pics).

The temporarily loaded tables (Site Content Types, Site Movie Types and Site Categories in the Categories tab) disappear as soon as you close Site Details. Therefore, if you could not drag and drop all the required Values into the appropriate CS tables, click on Get Categories in the Categories tab to re-read them or click on Get Parameters to repeat the whole process.

If the only categories the site offers are ‘pics’ and ‘movies’, you can either use the $$galtype or $$cat parameter.
If you use the $$galtype parameter then the Values need to be moved to the CS Content Types table and enable all accepted categories in the CS Categories table in the Categories tab.
If you use the $$cat parameter then drag and drop the category Values of all accepted categories to the CS Categories table in the Categories tab.

Some sites (mainly MGP-type) require the same data, but in a different format. Movie size is a good example – one site requires the data in kB, another in MB, and some even have combinations of sizes and numbers of movies (e.g. 1×1MB, 2×1MB, 1×2MB, 2×2MB, etc.).
To enter the size of movies use the $$movsize or $$movtsize parameters. During submitting these parameters are always substituted by the size in MB rounded to one decimal place, without unit specification, e.g.:
500 kB -> 0.5
1240 kB-> 1.2
1250 kB-> 1.3
2010 kB -> 2
If the site requires the size of the movie(s) to be entered in a different format or unit, set the site to Manual Submission in General tab.

If the site offers sizes combined with the number of movies (e.g. 1×500kb, 1×1mb, 1×1.5mb+,…), only use the $$movsize parameter and set the site to Manual Submission in the General tab. During manual submit the closest average size will be selected for the number of movies that the gallery contains.

If, in addition to movie size, the site requires to fill in the unit, then the unit needs to be entered after the parameter in the Parameters table, e.g. “$$movsize MB”.

If submitting by e-mail, parameters may also be used in the subject field. If the category name is required in the subject of the e-mail, specify the $$cat (or $$ncat) parameter.

When submitting by e-mail and if the message content is specific, you can enter parameters in the Value column and leave the Name column empty. The e-mail set up in this way will only contain the required data, but unnamed (i.e. without Gallery URL, Description, etc.).

If you have used the $$ncat parameter in the Parameters table, the name of the CS category will be substituted when needed (e.g. when the site has no names for its categories and you need to enter a category name in a form field or you wish to enter its name in an e-mail template).

Most of the currently used passphrases are completed automatically during submit when the $$code parameter is used. If the software fails to recognize an image code correctly (using Test Code), it is necessary to set the site to Manual Submit (check Manual Submission box in the General tab), so that you can enter the code manually during submit.

When using the $$copytxt(expression) parameter replace the text in the brackets with an expression appearing BEFORE the required code in the page text (not in its source code!)
Because the code itself is text-based and changes with every reload, you need to tell the submitter where the code is located on the submit page so it can copy & paste it in the appropriate field automatically.
This is why an exact, fixed expression (word or text) should be defined in the parameter’s brackets, which precedes the generated text code on the page. This expression will enable the submitter to locate the position of the text code.
Once the submitter locates the expression it will enter a word (text code) into the field which immediately FOLLOWS the expression.Example of a correct setting of the text code parameter:
Set in form (using Get Parameters):

Set in the Parameters table:

The expression in the bracket after the $$copytxt parameter may consist of several words/characters; this expression must be unique and must not be repeated on the page.

To ensure that the code (image or text) is recognized and submitted during Auto Submit the Method has to be set to GET+POST, or to GET+MPOST. If you did not change the method manually, it will be changed automatically when saving Site Details.

If the site is set to Manual Submission and uses a dynamic form, e.g. if it reveals or hides other form fields when the content of a field changes, enter the $#onchange parameter in the Parameters table. Simply copy the form field name (that uses the JavaScript OnChange event) and paste it to a new row inside the Parameters table (note: it must be entered BELOW the original form field name); and assign the $#onchange value to it.
This can be also used for other JavaScript events, just replace onchange with an appropriate event, e.g. $#onclick, etc. Only recommended for advanced users!

Access the Site Details (Rules) through the context menu in Database ( Database > Show).

Site Does NOT Allow:

Consoles, Popups, Mouseovers check if the site bans the usage of any such scripts on the gallery;

.exe Files, ActiveX, Dialers check in case the site prohibits the usage of .exe files, activeX elements or dialers on the gallery;

Numeric IP Address check if the site rejects galleries with numeric IP addresses;

Adult Free Host check if the site does not accept galleries located on adult free hosts;

Non-Adult Free Host check if the site does not accept galleries located on non-adult free hosts;

Sponsor Host check if the site does not accept galleries located on sponsor hosts;

Assorted Gallery Content check if the site only accepts galleries with series.

Site Accepts:

Content Type: Check Softcore and/or Hardcore according to what the site accepts;

Model’s Age: Check the models’ age ranges (18-22, 23-30 and/or 30+ years) accepted by the site.

Site Requires:

2257 Info check if the site requires 2257 Info (18 U.S.C. § 2257 statement) on a gallery or linked from the gallery;

Big Image URL check if the site requires the URL of the large image (not the thumbnail) which is used to create the sample thumbnail during submit.

Submission Limit:

Set the maximum accepted number of submitted Galleries in a number of Days (per webmaster or domain). If the site does not restrict the number of submits in its rules, leave both values at 0 (unlimited submission).

Regular Submitters: Enter the number of accepted galleries for regular submitters (non-partners);

Partners: Enter the number of galleries accepted from partners.
Some sites offer several types of partner accounts with different numbers of accepted galleries. So if you wish to make sure that your pre-set partner submission limit does not change during the process of Database Update, check Lock.

Sample Thumbnail:

If the site requests a sample thumbnail (mandatory or optional) during submit, select Available Insertion Method in the form. If the site does not require it at all, leave both check-boxes unchecked and all other settings will be ignored (grayed out).

Check Thumb Upload if the site requires (optional or mandatory) upload of a sample thumbnail directly from your computer, and/or

Check Thumb URL if the site requires (optional or mandatory) URL of the sample thumbnail on a server.

If the sample thumbnail is mandatory and gallery submit is not possible without it, check Sample Thumbnail is Mandatory.

If the site only accepts 2257 compliant, softcore or “face only” thumbs, check Must be 2257 Compliant.

Finally, do not forget to enter the required Width and Height in pixels of the Pic Thumb and/or Movie Thumb. If the site does not require different sizes of the pic and movie thumbnails, set the same Width and Height in both cases (applies to TGP+, see Type of site in the General tab).

Picture Gallery Content:

When adding/editing TGP, or TGP+ (see Type of site in the General tab), enter the following information:

# of Pics: Enter the minimum and maximum allowed number of pictures in a gallery as required by the site. If there are no restrictions or no maximum number of pictures is specified, leave the value at 0 (unlimited number of pictures).

Movie Gallery Content:

When adding/editing MGP, or TGP+ (see Type of site in the General tab), enter the following information:

# of Movies: Enter the minimum and maximum allowed number of movies in a gallery as required by the site. If there are no restrictions or no maximum number of movies is specified, leave the value at 0 (unlimited number of movies);

Mixed Disabled: Check if the site does not accept mixed content (pics and movies) in a single gallery;

# of Pics: If the site accepts mixed content (with MGP, TGP+) and also requires a different number of pics in a mixed gallery than in a picture-only gallery (in case of TGP+), enter the minimum and maximum number of pictures allowed for a gallery. If the site does not place restrictions on the number of pics when combined with movies, leave the value at 0;

Movie Size: Enter the minimum and maximum required size of one movie in kB (0 = unlimited size);

Total Size: Enter the minimum and maximum total required size of all movies in kB (0 = unlimited size);

Movie Lenght: Enter the minimum and maximum required length of a single movie in minutes and seconds mm:ss (0:00 = unlimited length);

Total Lenght: Enter the minimum and maximum total length of all movies in minutes and seconds mm:ss (0:00 = unlimited length);

Sound Required: Select if the site only accepts movies with sound.

Click on Save button whenever you want to store the information entered. Click on the Parameters tab to view further information about the site.
If you do not want to store the information entered or you have made no changes, click on Cancel button.
By clicking on OK button the data will be stored and the Site Details window is closed.

Correct indication of the accepted Content Type and Model’s Age greatly helps to generate correct niche sites for submit (Step 3).
If, for example, the site only accepts softcore content, uncheck Hardcore. Such site will not be generated when submitting a hardcore gallery.

In case the site accepts ONLY ONE of these niches: Hardcore or Softcore, Teen or Babe or Mature (or the corresponding Gay categories), you can add categories as sub-categories to these.
Make sure first that you only checked one of the accepted niches in Model’s Age and/or in Content Type.
Example: For teens-only sites which offer several categories (e.g. Teen Softcore, Teen Hardcore, Teen Lesbians, …), check 18-23 yrs in Model’s Age and continue by assigning categories in the Categories tab.
When submitting to such site the appropriate (sub)category is automatically selected.

The information on size or length of the movies may be set by combining the rules. Example:
The site accepts at least two movies if each of them has at least 1 MB and it also accepts 500 kB movies, if their number is at least four. In such case set the minimum number of movies to two, minimum movie size to 500 kB and minimum total size to 2000 kB (2×1000 = 4×500 = 2000).

Main information on the site, allowing its temporary disabling and locking against Database Update + more preferred user settings.

Site Details - General Info

Access Site Details (General) through the context menu in Database ( Database > Show).

General Info:

Type: Select site type:
TGP – Site accepts only picture galleries;
MGP – Site accepts only movie galleries or mixed galleries;
TGP+ – Site accepts both picture and movie galleries; or mixed galleries;

Manual Submission check if this site requires manual submitting. If you leave this unselected, submission to the site will be made automatically.
Please note that this setting can be changed during Database Update. Therefore, to retain it after an update, check Manual Submission in the Preferred User Settings (see below);

Traffic Rating: Site rating by stars according to the average number of its unique visitors per day as follows:
***** (5 stars) – 500 000 and above
**** (4 stars) – 200 000 to 500 000
*** (3 stars) – 50 000 to 200 000
** (2 stars) – 20 000 to 50 000
* (1 star) – 5 000 to 20 000

Site Name: Enter the name of the site you wish to add to the database;

Main URL: Enter the full main URL of the site including ‘www’, terminated by ‘/’ (if applicable). It is essential to ensure that the Main URL is correct because it is used as the identifier of the site in the database both when the site is added and when the database is updated!

Rules URL: Enter the URL where the rules of the site are located;

Submit URL: Enter the URL or frame URL where the submit form is located.

You can check the URLs entered by clicking on the Show URL buttons in the appropriate rows.

Partner’s Authorization:

CS Message: Uneditable item with the Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter message which is displayed in all sites in the Database ( Database > Show) accepting only partners.

Choose the type of authorization for submit:

None/Optional select if the site accepts non-partners; even in the case when it generates a password after submit, if the password is not mandatory;

In Form select if the site only accepts partners and the authorization data (e.g. login, password, approved e-mail, etc.) is directly on the submit form;

HTTP select if the site only accepts partners but the authorization takes place in a separate dialog box before the submit form is opened.

If you have an active partner account, check Approved Partner box otherwise the site is skipped during site generation in Step 3.
If Login and/or Password are needed for authorization, enter them in the appropriate fields.

Partner account information (Approved Partner, Login, Password) are ignored during Database Update, so you do not need to lock the site against update only to protect this information.

Preferred User Settings [NOT Updated]:

If you use automatic Database Update you can define the data here which will NOT be updated. This setting is preferred to other settings in Database as well as during site generation in Step 3.

Lock Site Against Update: Check if you wish that NO settings are updated;

Enable to Generate: Uncheck if you do not wish to submit to the site, i.e. to skip it during site generation in Step 3;

Manual Submission: Check if you want to submit to the site manually. Unchecking this option means that the updated setting in General Info will be preferred;

Rating: Select one of the options (1 – 5 stars) if you wish to rate the site according to your own criteria, other than Traffic Rating;

Notes: In this box you can enter your own comments relating to the site. They will be shown when displaying the Database and are for your information only.

Click on the Save button whenever you want to store the information entered. Click on the Rules tab to view further information about the site.
If you do not want to store the information entered or you have made no changes, click on Cancel button.
By clicking on OK button the data will be stored and the Site Details window is closed.

Tips & Tricks:

The sites in the database do not need to be edited manually, we will do it for you! Just run Database Update (Database > Update) and the sites will be updated automatically.

If you change any settings in any tab of Site Details (except for Partner Account, Preferred User Settings and custom categories in the Categories tab), we recommend to Lock the site against automatic Database Update (Database > Update). Otherwise you run the risk that these settings will be overridden during the next update.

Make sure that you enter the correct URL of the submit form in the Submit URL field. If this form is located in a frame, enter the URL of this frame.
When the Submit URL is incorrectly entered you will not only be unable to read the necessary parameters from the submit form (in the Parameters tab) but any future submit to such site will be unsuccessful.

If the submit to the site is by e-mail or there is no submit URL, enter any URL in the Submit URL field, i.e. the rules URL or the main URL.

If the submit form is located on more than one page, you will need to set the site for manual submission (check Manual Submission box).

The data on average unique visitors per day are obtained from the most renowned adult stats. These statistics are used to rate the top traffic sites in the Traffic Rating by stars.
This rating may help you build an idea about the traffic at sites for grouping purposes. Keep in mind that this is the number of accesses to the site, not to your gallery from this site!
If you want to rate the site according to your own criteria (i.e. by accesses to your gallery from the site), you can do so in the Rating box. Your rating will have preference on the Traffic Rating value.

Add/Edit/Delete/Clone Site:

To review or change the settings for any site, double-click on its row or right-click your mouse to open a context menu and select Edit Site. The Site Details dialog is opened, displaying information about the site.
Using the same context menu, you can add new sites (Add Site) or remove them completely from the database (Delete Site).

If you wish to add a new site to the database with settings similar to another site already present in the database highlight its row and click on Clone Site in the context menu. Subsequently modify Site Details for the new site (Main URL, etc.).

Search:

You can use the Quick button to find a particular site in the selected group quickly. Enter a part of its name or main/rules/submit URL in the appropriate box.
The Quick button can also be used to search for sites according to your own keywords used in Notes.

Click on the Advanced button to open the following dialog if you wish to select sites according to several criteria at once:

Advanced Search

First, select a group from the Search in Group list, which contains the sites to be searched.

Next, only select those attributes which the site MUST accept. If you leave any of the items unchecked (or 0), it will be ignored in the search.
Note that if needed, you can select several categories/types at once (by holding CTRL or SHIFT keys) in Accepted Categories/Movie Types.

Press Search as soon as you finish the selection.
The sites which meet the search criteria are automatically loaded into the table in the database.
If you wish to add more sites searched by different criteria or from a different group, follow the same procedure but check the Add Results box before clicking on Search.

Note: The sites found are only placed in the db table temporarily! If you want to work with them as a group we recommend to copy them into a separate (existing) group.
Highlight all sites and choose Copy to > group name from the context menu.

Using Groups:

The -all- Group contains all sites in the database and is used to generate sites in Step 3 by default.
If you only wish to submit galleries to the sites you selected, create your own group(s) containing only these sites. Before generating the sites for submit in Step 3 select its name from the list.

Create your own group(s) by clicking on the New Group button. Enter the name in the dialog (max 30 characters). Click on OK to add this group to the group list.
Delete an unused group by highlighting its name in the list and clicking on Delete Group.

Highlight those site(s) you wish to copy to the new group (use CTRL or SHIFT key to select more sites at once). Right-click to open the context menu and choose Copy to > new group name. The selected sites will be copied to this group.

In this way you can create as many groups as you need. You can edit/delete them and copy/move/remove the sites they contain.
The only exception is Group -all- which contains all sites in the database. This group cannot be deleted and sites cannot be moved to other groups (i.e. only copying is permitted). Deleting a site in the -all- group removes it from all other groups.

Tips & Tricks:

The sites in the database do not need to be edited manually, we will do it for you! Just run Database Update (Database > Update) and the sites will be updated automatically.

If you use automatic Database Update we DO NOT recommend to delete sites from the -all- Group; otherwise you risk that they will be added during the next update. If you want to make sure that these sites are not generated in Step 3, we recommend to deactivate them (Disable to Generate) in Site Details.

If you wish to enable/disable generating of multiple sites at once, or lock/unlock them for automatic updates en bloc, highlight their rows and select the appropriate command in the context menu under Selected Sites (Selected Sites > Lock Against Update/Unlock/Enable to Generate/Disable).

The rows highlighted in pink mean that the sites only accept partners but required authorization data is missing (your login, password, etc.).
If you have a partner account, enter the required information (see notes) in its Site Details.
If no, the site(s) will be skipped when generating sites in Step 3 unless you enter your account information.

To make sure that the site you are about to add is not in the database yet, use the Quick Search button to search the database for its URL.

For fast searching you can use the Ctrl+F key shortcut. When searching for an expression, make sure you are positioned in the column where the expression is to be found. If you want to search for the site name, click anywhere in the Site Name column, press Ctrl+F to open the search dialog and enter the search expression.

If you wish to sort any of the table columns alphabetically or by type, click on its title or icon in the table header.

The only editable item in the table are Notes. You can enter/edit/delete your own notes on the sites by clicking or double-clicking in any row in the Notes column. This can help you when sorting sites by these notes or for quicker site searches using the Quick Search button.

If you want to search for sites which accept ONLY some niches (e.g. pure Gay sites, pure Anime sites, etc.) then check Accepting only these categories and select ALL possible categories corresponding to this niche which the site might accept. The search will only find those sites which accept the selected categories (at least 1) and no others. The Site Accepts Only option has a similar function.

If you want to search for sites which only accept partners, check Required in Partner’s Authorization. If you only want to search for sites where you have an active partner account, check Approved Partner.

If you want to select those sites which are in some other group (except for the -all- Group), select the desired group from the context menu (in Select sites also found in). You can then work with the selection, e.g. delete it from the group, move it etc.

You can change the name of the group you created at any time by overwriting it in the Group menu.

If you wish to add your own site to your group, select the group from the list, right-click anywhere in the table to open the context menu and select Add Site. Continue by entering the necessary data in Site Details.
Note that the site will be automatically added to the -all- Group which contains ALL sites in the database.

If you wish to remove site(s) ONLY from your own group, select the group in the list, highlight the site(s), right-click to open the context menu and select Remove Site.

You can edit sites from any group. Site info will be updated in all groups which contain the site.

Final report from Auto Submit. Submit success check is based on keywords automatically searched for by Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter in the result pages of the sites. Unsuccessful submits can be moved for renewed autosubmit or manual submission.

Step 8: Report

The table shows you whether the submission to sites was successful.

Submit result, however, is not entirely precise (accuracy of some 99%) since some sites use keywords like “banned” or “backlisted” even after a successful submit.

Select the View Result command in the context menu* or double-click a row in the Result column to view detailed result of the auto submit with the stored result page of the site.
All result pages are automatically stored in a subfolder named ‘log’ in your template gallery directory (without graphics).

* Access the context menu by right-clicking your mouse once you have clicked on the row of the site. Besides the View Result command, the menu also contains the following commands:

Resubmit Manually: Moves the sites you selected for manual resubmission to Step 7 while retaining the latest result of the automatic submission.

Resubmit Automatically: Moves the sites you selected for automatic resubmission to Step 6 and deletes the latest autosubmit result.

We only recommend to use these commands in some cases of failed auto submit. You have to go back to Step 6, or Step 7 and finish the resubmit like a standard submission!

To submit another gallery, go back to Step 1 and click the ClearAll button. This will erase all data from the previous submit sessions including the list of generated sites, duplication results and the gallery submit report. Run the whole submit process from scratch.

Failed submission of galleries by e-mail (marked in the Result column as ‘Mail:’) cannot be moved for repeated manual submit! It can, however, be resubmitted automatically or directly using the cached result page.
Click on the e-mail address in the result page to open a ‘New Message’ window of your e-mail client with pre-completed information including the e-mail address, subject and the message body. If your e-mail client does not support pre-completion, copy the message from the result page by Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V).

If you wish to save the submit results in an HTML file, select Save All Results in the context menu. You will be able to review the results in the History of submitted galleries.
In such case, do not delete the ‘log’ folder in the directory of your gallery, or the links will not be displayed correctly!
If you do not need to review the results later, you can delete the ‘log’ folder from the gallery folder as soon as the submit is finished.

If you have your own groups you can use the Copy and Delete commands of the context menu to move or delete sites from groups according to their results.

If you wish to verify the settings of a site in the database during the submit process, just select Edit Site from the context menu. If necessary, you can change some settings after the submit process has been completed but these changes will only be applied when the new gallery is submitted (when new sites are generated). Please note that we strongly discourage changing settings in the database during the submit process because some changes may disrupt the submit process!
In any case, whenever settings in Site Details change we recommend to safeguard the setting against unwanted changes during the automatic Database Update by locking the whole site in Site Details.

To sort any column alphabetically, click on its title in the table header.

The sites moved for repeated manual submission to Step 7 are highlighted by a different background colour.

To review the submitted galleries, click on the URLs in the Gallery URL column. The gallery will be opened in a new browser window.

Double-clicking on the site name in the Site Name column will automatically open its main page in a new browser window.

Submit individual galleries manually to up to 10 generated sites at once. The submission uses separate browser windows by downloading the submit page of the site and automatically completing the submit form.

Step 7: Manual Submit

Important warnings before submitting the galleries:
1. Make sure you are on-line. You need to be for the submission!
2. Make sure that all galleries, images and recips were uploaded to the server (Step 5);
3. If needed, you can set the proxy server address and other connection properties in the Internet Explorer settings (open directly by clicking on the IE Options shortcut button).

If you wish to disable the possibility of viewing images or own notes on individual sites in loaded pages to be submitted, or you want to disable Active X controls during manual submitting, you can do so in Advanced Options. To open the Advanced tab quickly just hit the Advanced button in Tools.

Once the preparation is completed, you can begin submitting…

The table contains a list of sites generated for the manual submit with assigned galleries. The sites are marked ‘M‘ (Manual) in the Type column.
The galleries for which automatic submission failed are moved from the Report tab for manual re-submit, marked ‘A‘ (Auto) in the same column and shown against a background highlight.

Manual Submit:

Select the number of simultaneous submit processes in # of Windows (up to 10) and click on Submit to begin.
You will see an authorization dialog box where you need to fill in your Chameleon Login and Password. Next click on the Authorize button to open new browser windows with the submit forms of the sites on the list. The currently opened sites are marked with an arrow on the list.

Arrange the opened windows on your desktop as desired. The window arrangement will be restored when you open the pages next. If you want to revert to the default arrangement (Cascade), click on Arrange.

If you wish to close all opened submit pages in one step (to suspend or terminate the manual submission) click on the Later All button. This will close all windows and the unfinished submits are automatically stored for future re-submit (they will be marked ‘Later’ in the Result column).

Browser Window:

Check the automatically completed form data on the submit page and correct/add the missing data.

If you need to fill in the submit form, click on the Fill in Form button for automatic completion (or press Ctrl+Alt+F).
If you need to fill in the Gallery URL, click the relevant button in Tools to copy it to clipboard and paste it to the relevant form field by using CTRL+V.
Follow the same procedure to enter the path to a sample thumbnail on your computer unless it is completed automatically (not supported in versions earlier than IE 5.0).

The category under the navigation menu displays the CS category for which the site was generated. This information can help you in case that no category was automatically selected in the form. In such case we recommend to select the category closest to the one displayed or to select its sub-category.

Send out the filled data like you would in a standard manual submit.

If the submission to a site was successful, click on the Submit Successful button in the top right corner (or press Alt+S) . If not, click on Submit Failed (Alt+E). If you wish to postpone submission to this site, click on Submit Later (Alt+L).
The current window closes and another is opened, downloading the submit page of the next site.

Continue in the same way until you’ve submitted to all sites assigned for manual submit.

The results of manual submission you reported are automatically recorded in the Result column. They are provided for your use as a summary of manual submit success rate.
Select the View Result command in the context menu or double-click a row in the Result column to view detailed result of the manual submit with the stored result page of the site.
All result pages are automatically stored in a subfolder named ‘log’ in your template gallery directory (without graphics).

If you are not satisfied with the result of the submit (and if you accidentally confirmed the submit by clicking on Submit Successful or Submit Failed buttons) you can cancel this result and resubmit to the site. To do this, select the site and choose Resubmit from the context menu. The result will be deleted and you can repeat the submit by clicking the Submit button.

Tips & Tricks:

If you want to avoid re-entering the Login and Password for authorization, store them on the Advanced tab (File > Options > Advanced).

To speed up the whole process of manual submitting we recommend disabling the feature of displaying images on loaded pages to be submitted. Just check Do Not Display Images in the Advanced tab. Please note that this setting will have no impact on displaying image codes in forms (IE 5+).
If you for some reason wish to display images only on a certain loaded page to be submitted, despite the setting, just click Ctrl+Alt+F5.

Notes display your own comments on each site. The notes can be added/edited directly in the Manual Submit windows before they are closed (i.e. before clicking on Submit Successful/Later/Failed).

You can submit manually even during an ongoing auto submit (Step 6). The submit forms, however, will take longer to load and their response may be slower. This is especially true in case you have a slow connection.

If the tracking code failed to load correctly, right-click it and select Show Picture from the context menu.

If you want to have codes completed in forms automatically, make sure you have sufficient free space in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ folder. Please clean the folder contents regularly.

Chameleon TGP/MGP Submitter supports automatic logging for those sites that require HTTP authorization (in a separate dialog box) before loading a submit form.
In case your login info is incorrect and authorization has not been successful, click the Later button. When submitting to other sites is finished, this invalid login info could be corrected directly in Site Details in the database, and finish up the submitting process.

Find more information on site settings in the Database (Site Details).

If windows still switch spontaneously during manual submit, please check the application switching settings of your system. To do this you can use the free Tweak UI tool which is available for download on Microsoft web pages. All you need to do is activate the ‘Prevent applications from stealing focus’ check-box in the General tab.

All you need to do is activate the ‘Prevent applications from stealing focus’ check-box in the General tab.

The sites moved from the Report tab for manual resubmit after an unsuccessful automatic submission attempt have the result of the autosubmit in the Result column (after ‘Later:’), until you have manually submitted them. The autosubmit result is then replaced by the current status.

Double-click the site name in the Site Name column to open the main page of the site in a new browser window.

The page which is opened during manual submit can be controlled like while browsing. To do this, use the control buttons in the top left corner – Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh.

If you discover during the submit process that you made an error in the gallery description, click on Later All. Return to Step 1 to correct the description and confirm the change by clicking on the Save&Continue button. Then click on the Manual Submit tab and continue submitting.
If you made an error when entering other information (e.g. the # of pics, categories, hosting, etc.) which directly affects the selection of sites suitable for submit, we strongly recommend to repeat the whole process.

Step 5: FTP Upload

Unless you did so in Options, click on the FTP shortcut button to open an FTP Options tab (File > Options > FTP) and enter the data needed for FTP access at the hosting server.

Connection:

In the list, select the Server name where you want to upload files/folders and click on the Connect button. Progress details will be displayed in the adjoining text box.
If the connection was successful the detection light will turn green and the server folders will be displayed in the lower right part of the tab (server pane).
If not, please correct the settings on the FTP Options tab (File > Options > FTP), or make sure that you are on-line and connect again.

Click the Stop/Disconnect button at any time to suspend or terminate the connection to the server.

Upload:

You can verify the local and server paths for gallery and recip upload by clicking on Test Paths Before Uploading. Both paths (uploaded from… to…) for galleries and recips will be displayed in the dialog window.

Test Paths Before Uploading

The gallery paths are a combination of information entered in Gallery to Duplicate (Step 4), Base URL (Step 1) and Initial Gallery/Host Directory (FTP Options).
The default local path of the “img” folder in Upload Recips From points to the Chameleon Submitter folder (Chameleon Submitter\img\). Upload Recips To displays the Recips Directory which was entered in FTP Options. Ignore these recip paths if your recips are stored and linked to from the gallery folder (see URL of Recips in Step 4).

If you already have an original gallery with images uploaded on the server or if you only wish to upload duplicated galleries (without images), check Upload Duplicated Galleries Only.

If you wish to verify which files/folders will be automatically uploaded when the Upload Galleries button is clicked, hit Highlight Items to Upload. This will automatically browse to the respective gallery folder in the lower left part (local pane).
If your recips are stored and linked to in the gallery folder (see URL of Recips in Step 4) then this folder will also be highlighted and it will upload automatically with the other files/folders by clicking on Upload Galleries.
Note that the “log” folder does not need to be uploaded to the server and is therefore not highlighted.

If you are satisfied with the selection click on the Upload Galleries button and you can monitor the upload progress in the adjoining text box or in the Uploading… dialog.

If you are not satisfied with the selection then manually highlight those items in the local pane which you would like to upload and select Upload Selected from the context menu (open context menu by clicking the right mouse button).

In case that you use a common recip folder for each submit (see URL of Recips in Step 4), click on Upload Recips. This will automatically compare the recips stored in the Chameleon Submitter “img” folder (Chameleon Submitter\img\) with those on the server so that ONLY the new (or missing) recips are uploaded. Recommended!

As soon as upload is completed, click on the Stop/Disconnect button in Connection to terminate the connection.

You can review the uploaded galleries by clicking on the Check Galleries button. This will open the whole list of galleries with their respective sites.

If you want to continue submitting automatically, click on Continue button. You will automatically be brought to Auto Submit (Step 6).
Or, if you want to continue submitting manually, click directly on the Manual Submit tab (Step 7).

If the error message “No such file or directory” is displayed during connect even though the directory exists on your server, this means you entered an incorrect Initial Gallery/Host Directory in FTP Options.
If a file with the same name is detected on the server during upload click on the appropriate button according to whether you wish to Overwrite (All) or Skip (All). Click on Cancel, to suspend the upload.

If connection was disrupted for any reason during the upload, click on the Connect button in Connection again.
Before comparing files make sure that the folder opened in the server pane is the same as in the local pane. If not, use the Browse Gallery/Recips Folder in context menu to open the folder fast both in local and server panes.

Comparison of the local folders and server folders for missing or new files is based on their name and size (in bytes).

If needed, you can download selected items from the server. Just highlight those items in the server pane which you would like to download and select Download Selected from the context menu (open context menu by clicking the right mouse button).

All updated reciprocal buttons can be found in the Chameleon Submitter ‘img’ folder (Chameleon Submitter\img\). Please DO NOT CHANGE the name of this folder or the Database won’t be updated correctly!

There may be several reasons if Gallery URLs or images and recips do not display:
5. The galleries or recips were uploaded to an incorrect server.

Duplication of galleries from the template (clean) gallery with automatic insertion of reciprocal links. This step contains all tools needed to duplicate – select the number of recips per page, editable recip templates, file/folder naming options, etc. If you wish to submit a sponsor-hosted gallery (defined in Step 1), this step is automatically skipped!

Step 4: Duplicate

Duplicate Info:

Gallery to Duplicate: Click on the Find File button to search for the gallery to be duplicated. You should have this gallery ready in its final form and without reciprocal links;

URL of Recips: Enter the common part of the URL of graphical recips at the domain where your gallery is hosted (terminate by “/”).

Note: If you submit (different) galleries from the same hosting domain, we recommend to use the same URL of Recips at this domain for all submits.
Enter its absolute URL (e.g. “http://www.yourdomain.com/img/”). This will ensure that ONLY NEW recips (added during Database Update) are automatically uploaded into the same recip folder on your server in Step 5.
If you only enter the relative URL of Recips (e.g. “img/”), a separate recip subfolder will automatically be created in the folder of your gallery. This folder will contain only recips from the currently generated sites. We recommend to use this format ONLY if changing hosts frequently, otherwise the whole recip folder will need to be uploaded to the server prior to every new gallery submit.

If you wish to display simple text links instead of graphical recips in the duplicated galleries, check Use text links instead of image recips. All images (including those from HTML recips, whether local or hotlinked) will be replaced by a text link containing the site name. In such case you do not need to fill in the URL of Recips.
WARNING! Some sites explicitly require the use of a recip link in a particular format (e.g. image recip) and will punish non-compliance by banning you. Use this feature at your own risk!

Naming Options:
Used to specify the final naming format of the duplicated galleries (files) or their folders.

File Naming: Select the parameter according to which unique filenames will be generated. If you do not find an appropriate combination in the list, you can modify it by simply overwriting any of the parameters available (the default combination will be offered at next submit). Do not forget to enter the file extension (e.g. “.html”)!
During duplication the galleries will be placed in the folder of the original gallery. Recommended!

Optional: ONLY check Create separate gallery folders if you want to place the duplicated galleries (or each of them) in a separate folder.
In order to have images display correctly in galleries duplicated in this way it is necessary that your Gallery to Duplicate contain absolute links or that the Adjust relative links in all duplicated galleries option is checked (see Duplicating Options below). Only recommended to advanced users!

Folder Naming: If you decided to create separate gallery folders, select the parameter according to which unique foldernames will be generated. If you do not find an appropriate combination in the list, you can modify it by simply overwriting any of the parameters available. The default combination will be offered at next submit.

Description of parameters:
$$origin – original name is retained (as template gallery);
$$cat – primary category is appended to the name;
$$name – this parameter is automatically replaced during duplication by the names defined in the selected text file (see Get Names from);
$$num – assigns numbers according to numbering settings;
$$site – a placeholder for the name of the site for which the gallery was created (or the first site in a sequence if the gallery was created for several sites);
$$desc – individual words extracted from the longest description entered in Step 1 will be used;
$$yy – the last two figures of the year are appended;
$$mm – the month of the year is appended;
$$dd – the day in the month is appended.

If you used the $$num parameter in file or folder naming, you need to enter the Starting Number and Step used to increment the names of duplicated galleries. If you did not use the parameter, retain default settings at 1.

Get Names from: If you used $$name in file or folder naming, click on the Find File button to search for a text file (.txt) with the list of names. You will find two such sample text files in the Chameleon Submitter folder, names.txt and letters.txt. You can modify these files anytime according to your wishes using the Edit File button or create your own text file.

Edit Names

Duplicating Options:

Create separate gallery for each site: Check this option if you want to find out which site generates traffic or sign-ups (an additional element to your stats). Only recommended for advanced users!
With this option enabled, separate galleries will be created for each site when you click on Start Duplication. The specified Recip Links Template will be used.
Therefore, if you specified a Recip Links Template for 3 recips per page, three galleries with three recips each will be created and each of the galleries will be submitted to each site separately (i.e. Gallery 1 will ONLY be submitted to Site 1, Gallery 2 ONLY to Site 2 and Gallery 3 ONLY to Site 3). Similarly, separate copies of non-recip galleries are created, one for each non-recip site.

Adjust relative links in all duplicated galleries: This option is only available when creating separate gallery folders and is recommended only for advanced users.
When this option is checked, a BASE element containing the URL address set in the Base URL field in Step 1, is inserted in the source codes of all duplicated galleries. This will ensure that the links which are linked relatively (e.g. links to images, links to other pages on the same domain, etc.) are displayed correctly in all duplicated galleries.
Uncheck this option if you do not wish to have them re-linked for any reason.

Do not display file name in gallery URLs: Check this option if you wish to hide file names (e.g. index1.html, teen-pics.php etc.) in the created gallery URLs when submitting. This option is only available when using separate gallery folders and is recommended only for advanced users.

Recip Links Template:

Define the number of recip links per duplicated page and set up the table which will be automatically inserted in the galleries during their duplication along with the generated recips. As required by most sites, the recips table selected will automatically be placed at the top of the duplicated galleries.

Optional: If you want to display your recips in a different place you can enter the <!– {RECIPS} –> tag wherever you want in the source code of your Gallery to Duplicate. During duplication this tag will be replaced by the selected template.
To open this source code click on the Set Recip Table Location button, choose the location where you want to insert it and click on the Insert <!– {RECIPS} –> button. You can verify the settings using the Preview button.

Set Recip Table Location

If you are satisfied with the location of the table click the OK button. If not, change the location of the <!– {RECIPS} –> tag or click on Cancel.

Continue by selecting the number of recip links per duplicated page in # of Recips and setting up the table which will be automatically inserted in the galleries during their duplication along with the generated recips.

To define the recips table you can use the ready-to-use Default Recip Template or your own Custom Recip Template:

Default Recip Template: If you select this possibility then a pre-defined table is inserted in the galleries containing recips according to the # of Recips per Page you have set. A recip template modified in this way is ready for use and does not need to be further modified. If you wish to modify it for any reason, select the second option;

Custom Recip Template select, if you wish to use your own (or edit the default) recip template.
Continue by clicking on the Edit Template button – you can then have your own template (HTM, HTML or TXT) loaded by clicking on the Load button, or you can edit the template in the open edit window.

Edit Recip Template

Insert the <recip> tags (one <recip> per generated link) in places where you want the recip links to be generated. To confirm the changes use Save, Save As if you wish to save your modified template as a separate file, or the OK button.
If you want to discard your changes or use the selected template without changes, click on Cancel.

You can preview the location and appearance of the table containing the sample recips on your gallery directly in Step 4. Click on Full Size Preview if you wish to view the gallery at full size.

Duplicate Galleries:

If you want to verify the correct settings before duplicating click on Test Settings Before Duplicating. A dialog will display several sample full URL galleries with a final URL of Recips.

Test Settings Before Duplicating

These sample URLs are the final combination of information entered in Base URL (Step 1), in URL of Recips and in Naming Options.
If these URLs are not displayed as you wish then please change the settings in these fields until you are satisfied with the result.

Now that all options have been set, run gallery duplication by clicking on the Start Duplication button. The final number of galleries depends on the generated sites and on your defined number of reciprocal links per page. This includes specific rules of sites (e.g. no more than a single recip link per gallery).
The progress of duplication which only lasts several seconds can be monitored on the Progress bar.

When the duplication is finished the whole list of duplicated galleries with the assigned sites can be viewed by clicking on the Check Duplicated Galleries button. The list is automatically saved in the template gallery directory, in the ‘log’ folder (../log/log.html). It is for your information only and you do not need to upload it to the server.

If you are satisfied with the result of the duplication, click on Save&Continue button. This will store the information entered and you will automatically be brought to Step 5.
The submit process will not proceed correctly unless the Save&Continue button is clicked in all steps!

Tips & Tricks:

If you have your own site and want its reciprocal link to be generated in each duplicated gallery, create a Custom Recip Template.
For example, if you want three (3) reciprocal links on your gallery (one linking to your site and two to others), select two (2) Recips per Page. The modified template might then look like this:

The “1 Recip Per Page” template will be automatically used when submitting to sites that require a single recip for galleries. For this reason we strongly recommend not to add additional links to this template – else you risk to be rejected or blacklisted!

The standard sponsor statistics will tell you the URL of the gallery from which a sign-up was made but if the same gallery was submitted to several sites, you are unable to tell at which site the sign-up originated. To do this, check the Create separate gallery for each site checkbox which will enable you to identify this site using the $$site parameter. The gallery will only be submitted to the site whose name is included in the title of the gallery (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/5/al4a.html).

To specify the source of traffic in more detail you can use the parameters <!– {SITEDOMAIN} –> and <!– {SITENAME} –> which could be entered into any gallery link to be duplicated.
For more effective results we recommend to use them in combination with the feature Create Separate Gallery for Each Site – this feature is activated by checking the relevant box.
In the process of duplicating, <!– {SITEDOMAIN} –> will be automatically replaced with the domain name for the site where a gallery is being submitted (e.g. www.al4a.com) and <!– {SITENAME} –> will be replaced with its name (e.g. al-4a).

If you want all duplicated galleries to have the same name, each of them has to be placed in a separate folder. In such case enter a common gallery name in File Naming (e.g. ‘index.html’). You will then have to select the parameters for generating names of the folders in Folder Naming (without “.html”). Only recommended to advanced users!

If the $$desc parameter is used in File/Folder Naming then individual words extracted from the longest description entered in Step 1 are used during duplication to create the file or folder names. The description must contain at least 10 unique words. If your longest description is shorter than 10 words please use a different parameter or modify your description in Step 1 so it has at least 10 words (and confirm your changes by clicking on Save & Continue).

If you wish to create your own text file with names (when using $$name in File/Folder Naming), it needs to contain at least 10 different names, each in a separate row!
In addition to alphanumeric characters these names may contain “-” and “_”.

You can create a new text file with names also by editing the originally selected file if you click on the Edit File button. Edit the names, and click on Save As to save it under a new name. If you wish to save the changes in the original file, click on Save. If you do not want to save your changes or just want to close the edit window, click on Cancel.

You don’t need to worry that the list of names runs out while duplicating galleries. When all names in the text file have been used they will be combined automatically until names for all duplicated galleries are created.

When using $$site in File/Folder Naming, all characters other than letters, numbers and dashes will be removed from the names of the sites (i.e. a gallery named after the “XXX’s.com” site will have the name “xxxscom”).

The default “log” folder created in your template gallery folder will contain the results from submit after the submission is completed. Do not delete it before you complete the submit! If you want to review submit results later through History, we recommend not to delete this folder at all.

When checking the list of duplicated galleries (log.html) you may happen to find the same site assigned to two galleries. This happens when there are less recip links left over for the last gallery than you have specified. By default, recip links which were used previously will be filled in (such sites are marked in the list with an asterisk *). Do not worry, only one submit is made to such site.

Two links are assigned per every duplicated gallery on the list (log.html). The first link points to the gallery saved in your computer (in the gallery template folder) and is provided for you to check the gallery before final upload to the server (Step 5). The second link points to the gallery’s URL but the gallery needs to be uploaded to the server before the link becomes active!

If reciprocal links do not display correctly in the duplicated galleries, the reason could be:
1. You are off-line. Graphical recips will only display correctly if you are on-line;
2. Recips have not been uploaded to the server hosting your domain;;
3. You entered an incorrect URL of Recips;
4. You made an error while modifying the Recip Links Template. Do not forget to insert <recip> into the code where you want the reciprocal link to be placed.

If you are not satisfied with the duplication results, delete all duplicated files/folders from the template gallery directory. Make the necessary corrections and repeat the process.
